Directions for Use
Add Zoo Med Excavator Clay to a clean and appropriately prepared enclosure. Moisten the substrate according to the manufacturer's instructions and shape it into the desired tunnels, burrows, caves, slopes or other features. Allow the substrate to dry and harden fully before introducing your pet.
Make sure any structures are stable and securely supported, and check the enclosure carefully before allowing your pet access. Remove soiled areas and maintain the substrate as required during routine enclosure cleaning.
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and ensure the finished enclosure provides appropriate temperature, humidity, ventilation and other environmental conditions for your individual pet.

Our Pet Shop Tip
Excavator Clay is a great way to add another dimension to an arid enclosure and give suitable reptiles the opportunity to dig and explore. Use it to create stable burrows, tunnels and hiding areas, then combine it with appropriate rocks and natural décor for a more enriching habitat. Always make sure any structures are secure and fully dry before introducing your pet.
